QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an EX (Mathematics) endorsement. Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a BX o r BA (English) endorsement, preferred. Alternatively, a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Elementary Certified K-5 ALL Subjects (K-8 Self-Contained Classroom), with grade 6-8 endorsements (listed above), preferred. Experience teaching specifically Math. Experience teaching specifically English Language Arts, preferred. Elementary Certified K-5 ALL Subjects (K-8 Self Contained Classroom), with grade 6-8 endorsements (listed above), preferred.
Q UALIFICATIONS
Continued… Must be team-oriented and creative minded. Competency in student management and supervision. E xperience working in a teaming environment. Understanding of Middle School concepts and the young adolescent. Candidates are expected to be able to demonstrate proven ability in collaboration, initiative leadership, and innovation. A bility to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff, and parents. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
