About Us:
We are committed to providing at-risk students with a safe haven where they can thrive academically and personally. Our After School Action Program (ASAP) combines homework help, tutoring, enriching activities, and nutritious meals to create a well-rounded learning experience that promotes success.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum Teach students using a variety of engaging and interactive methods Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior Utilize behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom environment Provide additional support to students who require special education services or tutoring Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in the classroom Maintain accurate program records, attendance, and evaluations. Contribute to program development, improvement, and expansion strategies.

Qualifications:
Proven experience working with at-risk youth, preferably in an educational or mentoring capacity. MUST have strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff. Creativity and enthusiasm for designing educational and recreational activities. Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree in education, social work, youth development, or a related field preferred CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
