Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time K/1-5th Grade Program Staff to join our vibrant educational community. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive environment for young learners. Your energy and passion for early childhood and elementary education will help foster a love of learning, support individual student needs, and promote positive classroom experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to curriculum development, implement innovative teaching strategies, and collaborate with a dynamic team of educators committed to student success. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Support classroom management by fostering a positive environment that encourages respectful behavior and active participation. Provide individualized tutoring and mentoring to students Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement. Collaborate with Lead teachers to adapt instructional materials for diverse learners Support classroom activities that promote childhood development, literacy education, and physical activity while ensuring safety and well-being. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in classroom settings or childcare environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy/math instruction. Experience working with students Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, students, and families. Ability to adapt teaching methods using learning technology and library services to meet individual student needs. Demonstrated understanding of childhood development stages and best practices in working with children of various ages from K/1 through 5th grade. Posses a valid drivers license is highly preferred Willingness to operate a 15 passenger van (must be at least 21 years old) Must pass a drug screen test Clear a background check Join us in making a meaningful difference in young learners' lives by creating an inspiring educational and fun environment that fosters growth, curiosity, and confidence!
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 19.0 per week
