Tuesdays & Thursdays, 3:15 - 4:30 Overview Join our vibrant team as an After School Instructor and become a positive influence in children's lives! In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children after school hours. Your enthusiasm and leadership will inspire young minds through educational activities, recreational games, and social skill development. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while fostering growth, confidence, and joy among students. Duties Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Facilitate engaging youth group activities, including arts and crafts, sports, theater, and outdoor adventures Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and respectful interactions Lead educational tutoring sessions and support childhood development through tailored learning activities Maintain clear communication with parents and staff regarding student progress and behavior Follow first aid protocols diligently, providing immediate assistance when necessary using CPR or AED equipment Manage classroom or activity space efficiently, ensuring materials are organized and safety standards are upheld Experience Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and knowledge of first aid protocols a plus ; ongoing training provided if needed Background in special education or experience working with children with special needs is a plus Proven ability to lead team activities and foster a positive environment for young learners Experience in outdoor work or camp settings enhances your ability to manage outdoor activities confidently Strong communication skills with a background in teaching, babysitting, theater, or youth development programs will support your success in this role Embark on a fulfilling journey where your energy fuels children's growth!
