We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team at an arts-integrated STEAM Academy for middle school students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for science and teaching, with the ability to create engaging lessons that inspire students to excel in the subject.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school's curriculum
• Teach science to students in a classroom setting
• Utilize various teaching methods to ensure all students understand the material
• Provide individualized instruction to students who require extra help
• Create and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams that are creative and differentiating
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
• NJDOE Teaching Certificate
• Previous experience teaching science
• Proficiency in curriculum development and classroom management
