Job Description

Work Schedule-Monday Thru Friday 2:15pm-530pm

Job Summary/General Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Group Leaders to engage with youth in a dynamic environment focused on childhood development and education. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for working with children, and a commitment to fostering a positive and enriching atmosphere. This role is crucial in ensuring that all activities are conducted safely and effectively while promoting the growth and development of each student.

• Credentials and Education/Experience High school diploma required One - Two years' experience working with youth or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Good planning and organizational skills Ability to multitask Working knowledge of computer software programs including MS Office Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems Familiarity with childhood development principles is essential. Experience in camp settings or leading group activities is preferred. Certification in First Aid or CPR is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members. A background in sports, performing arts, STEM or related fields can enhance the ability to engage participants in a variety of activities. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and supervise group activities, ensuring that they are engaging, educational, and aligned with the goals of childhood development. Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment. Provide support and guidance to students ranging from grades K-8 fostering with homework, team building, structured play and tutoring. Develop age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate educational content while encouraging creativity and exploration. Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians as needed. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by adhering to first aid protocols and emergency procedures. Facilitate sports coaching or physical activities that promote teamwork and physical fitness. Serve as a role model for students by demonstrating positive behaviors, values, and social emotional awareness. Performs all other duties assigned
