Job Description

KinderCare, a leader in early childhood education, is seeking a Teacher for Brookside Elementary School. In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom that nurtures each child's academic, social, and emotional growth. You will plan and deliver standards-based lessons, use play and hands-on activities to reinforce skills, and assess student progress to tailor instruction. Working in a collaborative, inclusive culture, you'll partner closely with families, participate in professional development, and have opportunities to grow your career while making a meaningful impact on children's lives every day. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards. Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student growth and behavior. Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership on programs and initiatives. Incorporate play-based and hands-on learning activities into daily instruction. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student documentation. Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance strategies. Participate in professional development and staff meetings. Support school events and family engagement activities.
