Our programs cover STEM, engineering, science, coding, entrepreneurship, LEGO, Minecraft, and other project-based learning activities. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time After-School Instructors to lead enrichment programs for elementary-age students in Forest Hills, Queens during Fall 2026. Programs begin September 14. Kodely provides the curriculum, lesson plans, training, and program materials. Responsibilities Lead engaging, hands-on enrichment activities for elementary-age students Follow Kodely's provided curriculum and lesson plans Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment Keep students actively engaged and encourage participation Manage classroom routines, transitions, and student behavior appropriately Arrive on time (2:00-2:10 PM) and stay through the required wrap-up time Communicate professionally with Kodely and school staff Consistently attend all assigned sessions throughout the program Qualifications We are looking for candidates who: Enjoy working with elementary-age students Are dependable, organized, and comfortable leading groups of up to 18 Have strong communication and classroom management skills Have an interest or background in STEM, science, engineering, coding, LEGO, Minecraft, entrepreneurship, or related fields Can create an engaging and supportive learning environment Are available for consistent, in-person work in Forest Hills, Queens Experience teaching in NYC DOE schools is a plus but not required Teaching or youth-program experience is preferred but not required for every position. Kodely provides training, curriculum, and instructional support. Important Scheduling Information These are part-time, in-person after-school positions. Reliable attendance is essential, and instructors are expected to commit to their assigned sessions for the full program period.
