Job Description

Afterschool Youth Counselor Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM About the Role Are you ready to inspire the next generation of performers, creators, and leaders? We are seeking passionate, energetic instructors who love nothing more than sharing the joy of dance, singing, and theater with eager young minds! As an Afterschool Counselor, you will be the spark that makes learning fun, transforming the afternoon into a vibrant space for creativity, growth, and discovery.

Key Responsibilities Lead Creative Clubs:
Direct and teach dynamic, high-energy clubs centered on your passions, including Dance, Singing, Theater & Acting , Music, Arts, Sports, and Cooking.
Inspire & Educate:
Design and deliver thrilling, age-appropriate lesson plans spanning the arts, STEM, physical fitness, nutrition, and character development.
Supervise & Protect:
Ensure the absolute health, safety, and well-being of all participants through attentive, active supervision.
Support Academic Success:
Guide and motivate students during homework time and academic enrichment activities.
Champion Inclusion:
Cultivate a welcoming, strength-based atmosphere tailored to the unique learning, emotional, and behavioral needs of every child.
Build Community:
Foster strong, positive relationships with school staff and communicate regularly with parents to celebrate their child's growth.
Stay Organized:
Manage daily program documentation including attendance, sign-in/out logs, and incident reports.
Maintain Excellence:
Actively participate in staff training and comply with all Department of Health, funder, and CDC safety guidelines. What We Are Looking For A deep, infectious passion for youth development and the performing arts. Exceptional communication skills and a cooperative team-player mentality. Reliability, creativity, and the ability to turn any afternoon into an adventure.
Job Types:

$17.17 per hour
