Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an After School Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire children to explore, learn, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. In this role, you will facilitate engaging activities, supervise children during after-school hours, and support their social and emotional development. Your positive energy and strong classroom management skills will help create a fun, inclusive atmosphere that encourages curiosity and teamwork. Duties Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and lead engaging activities that promote childhood development, creativity, and social skills Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to foster a respectful environment Facilitate youth group activities, including arts, sports, outdoor games, and educational projects Implement first aid protocols promptly in case of minor injuries, maintaining safety standards with CPR and AED operation when necessary Collaborate with colleagues to develop age-appropriate curricula aligned with youth development programs Provide support for children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance through tailored activities and Christian counseling when appropriate Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to supervise children effectively Valid certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols Experience with special education or working with students who have unique learning needs is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Outdoor work experience is advantageous for leading outdoor activities safely and confidently Passion for youth development, childhood education, and fostering positive behavior in young learners Join us in creating a vibrant after-school environment where children thrive!
