The purpose of the class is to assist in the operations of stage production, the administrative office, the education office, and/or special events in a performing arts theatre in the Hampton Coliseum/Hampton Arts Department. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or successful completion of GED. Some college coursework in liberal or fine arts preferred. Must successfully pass a background check prior to any offer of employment or promotion. One (1) year of experience in one or more of the following areas: administrative assistance, arts and culture, performing/visual arts, or customer service. Preferred Additional Requirements Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required. Must be able to work independently with follow-through on projects and assignments. High proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer experience required.
