Acorn Montessori Charter School is searching for a part-time Music teacher that can work with students in K-8th grade in forming a high quality music program. This teacher would work 25-30 hours per week. This teacher can be a college student looking for enrichment and experience, a retired music teacher looking for a connection with students, or a teacher only wanting part time work! Ideally, we would love to have a traveling music teacher that provides introduction to simple instruments, movement, and singing to students in K-8 in a weekly class per grade level each week. Acorn Montessori Charter School offers low student to teacher ratio and is a blended program utilizing Montessori principles including hands on small group instruction combined with standards aligned curriculum. Acorn Montessori Charter School prides itself on supporting teachers throughout their professional careers. Required experience/skills/education Must have IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card classroom management skills positive attitude team player experience working with children
