Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Piano Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through engaging and personalized music education. As a vital member of our creative arts team, you will foster a love for music, develop technical proficiency, and nurture artistic expression. Your expertise will help students achieve their musical goals while cultivating confidence, discipline, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant learning environment dedicated to creative arts instruction. Starting two days per week on Wednesday and Thursday. Can assume a client base immediately. Duties Design and implement comprehensive piano lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, skill levels, and learning styles Teach proper technique, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills across various genres and styles Incorporate curriculum development strategies to enhance student engagement and progress Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive, respectful, and motivating atmosphere for learners of all ages Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to support student growth in musical performance and confidence Organize recitals, performances, or showcases to give students opportunities to demonstrate their progress Collaborate with parents, guardians, or program coordinators to track student development and set achievable goals Qualifications Proven experience teaching piano or other musical instruments with a focus on youth programs or early childhood education Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adults in diverse learning environments Knowledge of visual & performing arts education, including choreography, dance instruction, theater experience, or related creative arts fields is highly desirable Familiarity with teaching music theory, instrumental performance techniques, and working with students with special needs or in special education settings Experience in choreography or dance instruction is a plus for integrating movement into musical lessons Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate learners at different skill levels and ages Join us as a Piano Instructor and help shape the next generation of musicians!
