Job Description

We are a vibrant and welcoming private music academy that is dedicated to inspiring a lifelong love of music. We provide private music lessons for students of all ages and skill levels in a supportive, success-oriented environment. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Instructor to join our team. We are looking for instructors in one or all of the following: flute, trumpet, and/or trombone. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one lessons tailored to each student's needs and goals, fostering a love for music and personal growth. This role requires a dynamic individual who is enthusiastic about teaching and creating a positive, engaging learning experience. The candidate must be a trustworthy educator with exceptional communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to cultivate strong relationships with parents and students.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach private music lessons in your area(s) of expertise (e.g., voice, piano, guitar, drums). Develop individualized lesson plans to meet students' skill levels and musical interests. Encourage and motivate students to set and achieve personal goals. Prepare students for recitals, auditions, or other performance opportunities, as appropriate. Communicate regularly with students and their families about progress and goals. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
Qualifications:
Degree in Music, Music Education, or related field preferred (or equivalent professional experience). Proficiency in one or more instruments, including voice. Previous teaching experience with students of various ages and skill levels preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed. Availability to teach afternoons, evenings, or weekends is preferred.
