Job Overview Main Street Music Studio is a growing community music school in Waterford, Michigan, dedicated to building confidence, creativity, and community with every lesson. We are seeking positive, dependable, and engaging vocal music teachers who love helping students grow both musically and personally. Candidates must pass a background check. At Main Street Music Studio , we believe music lessons should inspire confidence and connection while fostering excellent musicianship. Our studio serves students of all ages and experience levels in a welcoming, family-oriented environment. Teachers at Main Street Music Studio are supported by administrative assistants and a studio management software program for scheduling, posting student assignments, student/parent portal access, and front desk support. Responsibilities Teach weekly private lessons Create engaging and age-appropriate instruction Encourage consistent student progress Communicate professionally with families and staff Maintain punctuality and reliability Participate in studio events and recitals as available Requirements Qualifications Previous teaching experience preferred Strong musical background Ability to work with children and families positively Dependable and organized Multi-instrument experience is a plus Actively pursuing or having obtained a degree in music, or equivalent experience, is welcome

Pay:

$25.00 - $45.00 per hour

We currently need an instructor on Thursday afternoons and evenings. Are you currently available on Thursdays? Please list all days and times you are available to teach. (
