Opportunities to lead group classes and participate in community outreach programs and performances, with significant potential for higher compensation based on experience.
Qualifications:
Proficiency on violin, including performance proficiency. Proficiency on other string instruments, such as viola, cello, bass, etc., is preferable but not required. Proficiency in both classical and fiddle style violin is preferable but not required. A well rounded understanding of music theory. Previous teaching experience is preferable but not required. Musicians with or without formal music education are encouraged to apply; however, a strong foundation in music or education is highly valued. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
