Responsibilities:
Teach music lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum
Provide instruction in music theory, technique, and performance skills
Guide students in the selection and preparation of appropriate repertoire
Conduct individual and group rehearsals to develop ensemble skills
Assess student progress and provide feedback on areas for improvement
Collaborate with other music teachers and staff to coordinate performances and events
Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
Experience:
Experience working with children, including early childhood education or preschool settings
Knowledge of various musical styles and genres
Ability to play multiple instruments or proficiency in a specific instrument
Familiarity with teaching methods and techniques for different age groups
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
Experience in special education or working with students with diverse learning needs is a plus
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field (Not mandatory)
Demonstrated experience in teaching music lessons or classes (Preferred)
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
