# Jesus-Loving Music Teachers Needed — Join Something Special! Currently seeking exceptional
PIANO, VOICE, and GUITAR teachers
to join our great team of faculty! If you play and can teach additional instruments as well,
that's even better!
Voice teachers must be able to read music and accompany their students on piano or guitar.
This is not simply another opportunity to teach a few lessons in a private or group studio.
Be part of something special.
We are a growing, community-minded nonprofit that is making a difference through music education.
We are looking for musicians who want to invest not only in their students' musical development, but also in their lives. ## Please Read This Entire Listing Before Applying We receive many inquiries from individuals who unfortunately do not meet the qualifications for these positions. Please carefully read the entire listing before contacting us. This will help us respect everyone's time and ensure that applicants understand what we are looking for. If you do not live in our area, please do not apply unless you are
already genuinely prepared to relocate at your own expense
and can support yourself while you build your student roster. ## Who We Are Looking For We are seeking
committed believers who love Jesus
and are college-educated musicians and artists with a genuine desire and passion to teach music as a
mission and ministry
. You should have both a deep passion for music and strong proficiency on your instrument. ### Voice Teachers Voice teachers must be able to:
Read music at a high level.
Teach solid vocal technique and musicianship.
Accompany students at least at a basic functional level on
piano or guitar
. ### Musical Qualifications Please do not contact us unless you have a strong, professional working knowledge of music fundamentals. You must have a thorough working knowledge of
all major and minor scales
. Knowledge of modes is strongly preferred. You must also be able to
read music at a professional level
. If you cannot read music fluently and confidently at a high level, this position is not the right fit. ## Faith Requirements Because faith is central to our mission and the culture of our organization, applicants must be:
Born-again believers in Jesus Christ.
Baptized believers.
Active members of a church in good standing.
Committed to living out their faith as part of their professional and personal lives. If this does not describe you, please do not apply. ## Location Requirements We are primarily seeking
local applicants
. If you are not currently local, please do not contact us unless you already have a genuine plan to relocate to the area. We are currently looking for teachers who can serve students in:
Olympia
Parkland
Other nearby communities as opportunities and student enrollment grow ## Important Note About This Position
This is NOT currently a full-time job.
However, with a solid and growing roster of students, it is possible to provide for yourself well over time. Your income and teaching opportunities will depend on several factors, including student enrollment, your availability, your willingness to connect with the community, and your ability to build and maintain a strong roster. At present, we have approximately
two teaching days with roughly 4-5 hours of students each day
: •Tuesdays — West Side•Fridays — Downtown Olympia•For the right person, there may be an opportunity to take over both of these teaching days and ultimately build a substantially larger roster.
We may also be able to explore additional teaching days as student enrollment and demand grow.
We also currently need teachers in the Parkland area.
## Is This You? Are you a skilled and well-trained musician who loves Jesus? Are you willing to work hard? Do you have a heart for students and a desire to teach music as more than simply a job? Do you want to be part of a team in a growing, community-minded nonprofit that is making a genuine difference? Are you willing to connect with the community and help build something meaningful?
