Job Overview Alright, I'm going to cut to the chase - I need a vibrant, fun piano teacher who loves working with kids! Piano lessons can often feel strict and harsh - which is a bummer because playing the piano is one of the most beautiful, fun, life-long hobbies a person can have! I have a growing piano studio and have some extra families who don't fit into my schedule. I'm looking to hire a piano teacher to be a part of the team and our community.

What you need:

Years of piano experience. I want you to feel confident playing the piano, I don't want to have to teach you that part! A love for the piano and music - if you think it's boring, your class will be boring. Just saying. A love for teaching kiddos! Working with kids is not for everyone! You need patience, creativity, joy, fun, firmness, clarity, and more. If you enjoy working with kids and know the piano, I can teach you the rest. The perk of this job is that I will teach you what I have learned when it comes to teaching kids the piano and making it FUN. My methodology involves classical sightreading as well as creative, chord-based playing and songwriting. I can also coach you as to how to get your own piano business off the ground, I only ask that you don't start your own business in my zone. It would only be an hour or two a week to start, and you get to give your availability and decide whether or not a time slot works for you. Once a time slot is set, I do ask for that time slot to be consistently available for a least a 3-month period.
