Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as an Adapted Physical Education (APE) Teacher, where your expertise will foster physical health and inclusion. This onsite contract opportunity, located near Quincy, MA, spans across elementary to high school grades, offering a dynamic chance to make a difference every day in the lives of students with diverse abilities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Bachelors degree in Physical Education or a closely related field required Valid Massachusetts Physical Education teaching license (Initial license) Active Massachusetts License in Moderate or Severe Special Needs Previous experience or coursework in adapted physical education or special education preferred Passion for empowering students of all abilities to achieve their best through movement and recreation
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized adapted physical education lessons for K-12 students Assess students physical abilities and create developmentally appropriate adaptations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and families Track student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed Foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment in every class
