Preferred Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification with Adaptive or Developmental Adapted Physical Education (APE/DAPE) endorsement Experience delivering adaptive PE instruction to K-12 students Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with school teams, students, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized physical education plans based on student needs Skilled at creating inclusive and motivating physical activities tailored to diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver adaptive physical education lessons for students across two school sites Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans as needed Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings as required Encourage student participation, confidence, and skill development in physical activities
