• Position Summary
• The Department of Political Science at the University of Rochester invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty positions.

Adjunct faculty teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Political Science on a semester-by-semester basis, depending on departmental instructional needs and enrollment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement while contributing to the Department's educational mission.

• Qualifications
• Required
• Master's degree in Political Science or a closely related field by the time of appointment.
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the area(s) of instruction.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Preferred
• Ph.D. in Political Science or a closely related discipline.
• Previous experience teaching at the college or university level.
• Evidence of effective, inclusive teaching practices.
• Experience using instructional technologies and learning management systems.
