What You'll Own as

Center Director:

Full day-to-day operations — you run the center like it's your own business Sales and enrollment: respond to leads quickly, convert them into enrolled families, and hit growth targets Team leadership: recruit, hire, train, schedule, and develop a team of math instructors and leads Student success: oversee assessments, learning plans, and instructional quality so every student progresses Parent relationships: be the trusted point of contact who keeps families engaged, satisfied, and enrolled Center performance: track KPIs, manage profitability, and make the calls that keep the business healthy Local marketing: build relationships with schools and the community to keep the pipeline of leads strong What We're Looking For Previous management or leadership experience is required — you've led people before A track record in sales or customer relationships — you're comfortable owning a number A genuine passion for math and for helping students succeed The ability to balance strategy with hands-on, in-the-weeds execution Confidence to make decisions quickly and follow through without second-guessing Strong math competency (through at least Algebra I) — you'll be tested, not just interviewed Preferred Qualifications Prior experience working at or running a Mathnasium center is strongly preferred Bilingual, Spanish-speaking, is a plus Familiarity with the Mathnasium Method, center management software, and Mathnasium University All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
