Job DescriptionJob Description Preschool Director Coral Reef Academy | Melbourne, FL Full-Time | Leadership Position Coral Reef Academy is looking for an experienced, energetic, and compassionate Preschool Director to join our leadership team! We are seeking someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys leading a team, building relationships with families, and creating a positive environment where children and teachers can thrive. What You'll Do As our Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the preschool and work closely with teachers, families, and our management team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the schoolLeading, supporting, and developing teaching staffHiring, onboarding, and training employeesMaintaining appropriate classroom staffing and ratiosBuilding strong relationships with familiesAddressing parent questions and concerns professionallySupporting teachers with classroom management and challenging behaviorsMonitoring classroom quality and curriculum implementationEnsuring compliance with Florida DCF licensing requirementsOverseeing VPK requirements and documentationMonitoring staff training, credentials, and required documentationAssisting with enrollment and maintaining strong relationships with prospective familiesManaging schedules, staffing needs, supplies, and administrative responsibilitiesConducting staff evaluations and providing ongoing coaching and feedbackHelping create a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about working with young childrenA confident and supportive leaderOrganized and dependableComfortable managing and motivating a teamProfessional and approachableA strong communicatorAble to handle difficult conversations and solve problems effectivelyComfortable working in a fast-paced preschool environmentProactive and able to make sound decisions independentlyCommitted to creating a high-quality experience for children, families, and staff Qualifications Florida Director Credential required or eligibility to obtainPrevious experience in childcare, preschool, early learning, or educationPrevious leadership or supervisory experience preferredKnowledge of Florida DCF childcare regulations preferredVPK experience preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsMust meet all applicable background screening and childcare employment requirements Why Join Coral Reef Academy?
