What You'll Do As our Preschool Director, you will lead every aspect of school operations while creating a warm, welcoming environment where children, families, and teachers thrive.

You will:

Leadership & Culture Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Teachers, Team Trainers and Team Leads Build a positive, professional, and fun workplace culture Develop future leaders through coaching and mentoring Hold staff accountable while encouraging growth Celebrate successes and recognize outstanding performance Family Experience Build lasting relationships with families Conduct tours that convert prospective families into enrollments Resolve parent concerns with professionalism and compassion Create memorable experiences that keep families engaged Educational Excellence Ensure classrooms provide exceptional learning experiences Support curriculum implementation and teacher development Maintain high classroom standards Coach teachers through observations and feedback Promote school readiness and child development School Operations Oversee daily operations Manage staffing and classroom ratios Monitor enrollment and retention Ensure licensing compliance Maintain a safe, organized, beautiful facility Oversee budgets and operational performance Business Leadership Drive enrollment growth Support marketing initiatives Recruit outstanding teachers Monitor key performance indicators Build relationships within the community What Makes Little Sunshine Different We're intentionally building one of the best preschool workplaces in Florida.

Qualifications Preferred:

Director Credential (or ability to obtain) Florida Child Care Professional Credential or equivalent Experience leading a licensed preschool or childcare center Strong knowledge of DCF licensing requirements School Readiness and VPK experience preferred Experience with Procare or similar childcare management software Experience hiring, coaching, and developing staff Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Financial and budgeting experience preferred We're Looking For Someone Who...
