Assistant Director - The Learning Ladder Christian Preschool The Learning Ladder Christian Preschool is seeking a dedicated, organized, and Christ-centered Assistant Director to join our leadership team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, supporting teachers, and helping a preschool run smoothly each day. About Us The Learning Ladder is a faith-based preschool committed to nurturing young children academically, socially, and spiritually in a loving, Christ-centered environment. Position Overview The Assistant Director works closely with the Director to oversee daily operations, support staff, maintain compliance, and ensure a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for all students. Responsibilities Support the Director in the day-to-day management of the preschool Help supervise, coach, and encourage teaching staff Ensure classrooms meet licensing (DCF) and safety standards Assist with scheduling, staffing, and classroom coverage Maintain student records and assist with enrollment processes Communicate professionally with parents and staff Help plan school events, activities, and curriculum support Step into classrooms as needed to support ratios and flow of the day Qualifications Experience in early childhood education (required) Director Credential (required) Leadership or management experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Passion for working with children and supporting a team Commitment to a Christ-centered mission and values Schedule & Benefits Full-time position (hours may vary based on school needs) Supportive, faith-based work environment Opportunities for professional growth and leadership development Why Join Our Team?
