Assistant Director of Operations (Autism Services) ABA Behavior Solutions Wrentham, Massachusetts Full-Time Salary starting at $60,000+ (based on experience and qualifications) Build Something Meaningful ABA Behavior Solutions is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations to help lead the daily operations of our growing autism center. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building systems, developing people, creating accountability, and helping create an environment where children, families, and employees can thrive. Working alongside the Owner and Clinical Director, you'll strengthen operations, support employees, improve systems, and help ensure the daily experience of our center reflects our mission and values. What Success Looks Like
Build trusting relationships with employees while learning our mission, systems, and culture.
Strengthen daily operations so staff can focus on providing exceptional care.
Improve accountability through coaching, consistency, and clear expectations.
Identify practical opportunities to improve systems rather than relying on repeated reminders.
Become a trusted operational partner to the Owner and Clinical Director.
Position Overview The Assistant Director of Operations partners with the Owner and Clinical Director to ensure the center operates efficiently, professionally, and consistently each day. This role provides operational leadership—not clinical supervision—and supports the systems that allow our clinical team to deliver exceptional services. Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operational activities throughout the center
Support employee accountability for attendance, professionalism, communication, and performance
Coordinate onboarding and orientation
Assist with staffing and scheduling workflows
Maintain organized, welcoming, and safe learning environments
Oversee supplies, purchasing, inventory, and facilities
Support HR documentation and policy implementation
Prepare for accreditation and quality improvement activities
Communicate professionally with employees, families, and community partners
Collaborate closely with clinical leadership Qualifications
Leadership or supervisory experience
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to coach others while maintaining accountability
Problem-solving mindset
Experience in operations, healthcare, education, early childhood, or practice management preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required Benefits
