Header Duties Provide strategic leadership for the entire Head Start program, aligning goals with community needs and educational standards. Develop and implement comprehensive curricula that support early childhood development, including social-emotional learning, literacy, and numeracy skills. Lead fundraising efforts to secure grants and community resources that enhance program offerings and expand services. Manage program budgets meticulously, ensuring financial sustainability while maintaining compliance with federal funding requirements. Supervise school staff, including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff, fostering professional growth through ongoing training and development. Oversee all aspects of educational compliance, including adherence to federal regulations, state laws such as special education law, and local policies. Facilitate professional development workshops for staff on instructional leadership, classroom management, childhood development, and legal requirements. Conduct faculty evaluations to maintain high teaching standards and promote continuous improvement in instructional practices. Collaborate with community organizations to strengthen partnerships that support family engagement and resource sharing. Ensure safe, inclusive learning environments that respect diversity and promote equity for all children. Header Experience Extensive experience in early childhood education or K-12 school administration with a proven track record in leadership roles such as school director or principal. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children with an understanding of childhood development principles. Strong background in managing budgets at an executive level within educational settings or nonprofit organizations. Proven success in fundraising initiatives, grant writing, and resource development to support educational programs. Experience supervising diverse teams of educators and administrative staff while fostering a collaborative work environment. Knowledge of educational compliance standards including federal Head Start regulations, special education law, and school legal requirements. Skilled in public speaking and community outreach to advocate for early childhood education programs effectively. Familiarity with managing school operations such as personnel management, classroom oversight, and school administrative functions.
