Child Care Center Director The Learning Experience Corp - Kings Park, NY seeks a Child Care Center Director to lead daily operations of our early childhood education center serving infants through preschoolers. In this on-site role, you will oversee staff, implement our proprietary curriculum, and ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. You will build strong partnerships with families, manage enrollment and compliance with NY licensing, support teacher development through coaching and training, and foster a joyful, mission-driven culture focused on each child's academic, social, and emotional growth. Lead daily operations of the early childhood center ensuring safety, compliance, and quality care Supervise, mentor, and schedule teaching staff and support their professional growth Implement and oversee proprietary curriculum for infants through preschoolers Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families through regular communication Ensure compliance with state licensing, health, and safety regulations Monitor classroom environments and learning outcomes, using data to improve programs Manage enrollment, tours, and family onboarding to support center growth Oversee budgeting, supplies, and facility needs in partnership with leadership Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and child-first culture for staff and families Coordinate staff training, development, and performance feedback Early childhood education knowledge Child care center operations Staff supervision and coaching Curriculum implementation Family communication and engagement Regulatory and licensing compliance Budgeting and enrollment management Classroom observation and assessment Health and safety procedures Conflict resolution and problem-solving Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State child care center director or administrator qualification (as required by NY regulations) CDA or advanced early childhood certification preferred CPR and First Aid certification Knowledge of NY child care licensing regulations Background check and health clearances as required
