Job Summary The Executive Director of the Little Compton Community Center (LCCC) serves as the chief administrative officer for the organization. This leader manages the daily operations, multi-generational programming, and financial sustainability of a private501(c)(3) non-profit, which acts as a central hub for Little Compton's 3,500 residents. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director oversees a team of dedicated staff and volunteers, shapes community engagement, and maintains a safe, welcoming multi-use facility. Under the oversight of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director leads fundraising, operations, and community-driven program design to serve all age demographics—from toddlers to senior citizens. This highly collaborative role requires balancing hands-on oversight of regulatory compliance - including the after-school program and senior nutrition services - with organizational leadership in technology, digital communications, financial oversight, and board engagement.

Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field.
Experience:
5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a community hub or non-profit setting.
Sector Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of non-profit board dynamics, financial practices, and grant funding mechanisms.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience managing organization financials in QuickBooks and coordinating across virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google suite and Blackbaud/E-Tapestry).
Digital Communication Skills:
Proven capability to execute website maintenance, design email campaigns, utilize digital scheduling software, and navigate major social media platforms.
Regulatory Compliance:
Proven familiarity with State of Rhode Island health, sanitation, and child care licensing processes.
Communication Skills:
Proficient in both written and oral communication. Comfortable speaking publicly in small and large group settings. Experience managing conflict with both staff and outside parties. Possesses cross-generational relationship-building skills. Join us as we build a thriving community center that empowers residents through innovative programs and meaningful connections!
