The Garden Center Manager's primary role is to manage the operations of the Garden Center. Drives customer service in every way, to make shopping the Garden Center as easy and pleasant of an experience as possible. Manages Garden Center associates as needed and helps out in all areas of the store daily. Understanding of plant care, seasonal cycles and product selection. Experience with staffing, schedules, sales and inventory control. Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks i.e., lifting, watering and stocking. Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, displays and seasonal décor. Proven track record of being a team player Availability must be flexible, including evenings, weekends and holidays. 66 Hardware Company is a group of 7 (and growing!) Ace Hardware Co-ops in North Texas and Oklahoma. We're your local hardware store and we're a part of your community. Ace Hardware has over 5,000 stores around the world and the majority of those stores are independently owned and operated by local entrepreneurs.
