In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom assistant, providing flexible support across various toddler and preschool classrooms. Your energetic approach and strong understanding of child development will help create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain comprehensive classroom experience while contributing to the growth and well-being of children during their formative years. All roles are paid, reflecting our commitment to valuing every team member's contribution. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum development and lesson plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior management strategies and maintaining a structured learning environment. Engage children in meaningful activities that foster childhood development, including early intervention techniques. Provide toddler care by supporting routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to foster strong home-school connections. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and incidents. Contribute to classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety checks to uphold a secure learning environment. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, special education strategies, and early intervention practices. Experience developing curriculum content that includes literacy education, standardized testing preparation, and physical education activities. Familiarity with classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and teaching physical education or tutoring young children. Certification in first aid and CPR is required. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and collaboration with team members. Previous classroom experience involving toddler care or preschool teaching will support success in this versatile role. Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
