Job Description

KinderCare is seeking a Specialized Pre K Lead Teacher for our Prattville KinderCare center. In this on-site role, you will design and lead engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support children's academic, social, and emotional growth. You'll create an inclusive environment for diverse and specialized learning needs, guide assistant teachers, and partner closely with families. You will ensure a safe classroom that meets licensing and health standards while contributing to KinderCare's collaborative, growth-focused culture and advancing your early childhood education career. Responsibilities Lead a specialized Pre-K classroom, ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment. Design and deliver developmentally appropriate, inclusive curriculum and activities. Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with families regularly. Collaborate with families to support individual learning and behavior goals. Guide and mentor assistant teachers and classroom staff. Implement behavior guidance and social-emotional learning strategies. Maintain compliance with state licensing, health, and safety standards. Adapt instruction for children with diverse and specialized learning needs. Partner with center leadership to align with Kinder Care educational standards. Participate in professional development and continuous improvement efforts.
