Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong Christian background and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. You will work closely with infants and toddlers, responsible for guiding young learners in understanding biblical stories, principles, and their relevance to life. This involves creating engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping children develop a personal relationship with God. Guiding them through various educational activities, teaching, and ensuring their well-being throughout the day. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Provide individualized attention to each child, supporting their unique needs and developmental milestones. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Engage children in educational activities that promote language development, motor skills, and social interaction. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the classroom and play areas at all times. Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive environment for all children, including those with disabilities. Experience Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred. Familiarity with toddler care practices and behavior management techniques is essential. Experience working with students in preschool settings is highly desirable. Strong classroom management skills to maintain an organized and productive learning environment. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive manner.
