Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom atmosphere, and support the developmental growth of children from toddler to preschool age. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, ensuring each child feels valued, safe, and excited to explore their world. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and physical development, including Montessori or other educational approaches. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management. Conduct regular assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support early intervention when needed. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Maintain a safe and clean classroom adhering to health and safety standards; administer first aid and CPR as required. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and curriculum development to enhance learning experiences. Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child welfare and report any concerns regarding child abuse or neglect promptly. Requirements Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting; prior classroom experience preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR; ongoing training in child welfare or special education is a plus. Ability to develop creative lesson plans incorporating literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and sensory activities. Familiarity with classroom management tools and standardized testing methods for early learners.
