KidSpace Childcare Center is looking for a dependable, energetic, and flexible Full-Time Opening Floater to join our team! This is an important position at KidSpace. Our Opening Floater helps make sure our classrooms are ready for children each morning and provides support to teachers throughout the day. This position is perfect for someone who loves children, enjoys variety, and is the type of person who sees something that needs to be done and jumps in to help. You won't be stuck in the same classroom every day. You'll have the opportunity to work with children from infants through preschool , get to know different teachers and classrooms, and play an important role in helping our center run smoothly. What You'll Do Your day may include: Opening classrooms and preparing them for the children arriving each morning Working with children from infants through preschool Assisting teachers with daily classroom routines Providing classroom coverage and teacher support Helping with meals, diapering, naps, transitions, and activities Playing, reading, singing, and engaging with children Helping teachers maintain a safe and positive classroom environment Assisting with cleaning, organizing, and preparing classrooms Helping wherever the team needs additional support Communicating professionally with teachers and center leadership Following KidSpace policies, health and safety procedures, and Arkansas childcare regulations Completing required training and professional development We're Looking for

Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Must be able to pass a required background check Must meet Arkansas childcare licensing requirements Must have dependable attendance Must be able to work the entire scheduled shift Must be comfortable working with children from infancy through preschool CPR/First Aid certification is preferred; training can be obtained after hire Must be able to safely perform the physical responsibilities of working with young children Schedule Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM This is a consistent full-time schedule . No rotating shifts. Pay & Benefits $11.50-$13.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
