This is a unique role that combines childcare, household organization, personal assistance, and light family management. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with children but is also highly organized, dependable, and capable of helping keep a busy household and executive schedule running smoothly. This position has a split morning and afternoon schedule, with some flexibility during the middle of the day for errands, household tasks, and personal-assistant responsibilities. A private room is available for occasional overnight stays or part-time use when needed. Primary Responsibilities Childcare & School Support Help children get ready for school Prepare simple breakfasts and school lunches School drop-offs and pickups Transport children to sports, practices, activities, and appointments Assist with light homework Prepare snacks and simple meals Help keep backpacks, school supplies, sports equipment, and activity items organized Help maintain consistent morning and evening routines Occasional evening childcare and overnight care Family & Household Support Light household pickup and organization Children's laundry and bedroom organization Kitchen cleanup after meals and daily activities Keep commonly used household areas neat and organized Grocery shopping and household supply restocking Meal planning and light meal preparation Manage household returns, deliveries, and basic errands Coordinate with housekeepers, service providers, repair companies, and vendors as needed Help prepare the household for upcoming school, sports, travel, and family activities Personal Assistant Responsibilities Help maintain and organize personal and family calendars Provide reminders for appointments, school events, sports, and personal commitments Maintain a running personal task and priority list Help coordinate personal appointments Handle routine errands such as dry cleaning, returns, pharmacy pickups, vehicle appointments, and household purchases Help organize paperwork and important household information Assist with planning personal travel and family activities Prepare children and household items for trips Help keep personal commitments organized around a demanding business schedule Provide simple daily or weekly updates regarding upcoming appointments, family responsibilities, errands, and outstanding items Typical Schedule The position will primarily involve split shifts.
A typical schedule may include:
Morning:
approximately 6:30 AM-9:00 AM Morning routine Breakfast/lunch preparation School drop-offs Light household reset
Afternoon:
approximately 2:00 PM-7:00 PM School pickups Sports and activity transportation Homework Meals Household organization Preparing for the following day There may also be agreed-upon daytime hours on certain days for errands, household organization, grocery shopping, scheduling, and personal-assistant duties. Occasional evenings and overnight stays may be requested. A private room is available for overnight stays or part-time use when needed. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Highly reliable and punctual Trustworthy and discreet Warm and comfortable working with children Organized and detail-oriented Proactive and capable of seeing what needs to be done without constant direction Comfortable managing multiple schedules and responsibilities Flexible when occasional schedule changes occur Comfortable communicating with schools, coaches, service providers, and vendors Able to prepare simple, healthy meals Comfortable performing light household cleaning and organization Professional and respectful of privacy Qualifications Preferred qualifications include: Prior nanny, family assistant, household manager, personal assistant, or executive assistant experience Strong references Clean driving record Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Ability to safely transport children CPR/First Aid certification preferred Comfortable using calendars, texting, email, and basic organizational apps Ability to pass a background check About the Role The parent is the CEO of a successful company and has a demanding professional schedule. A major part of this position is helping keep the household, children, personal schedule, and day-to-day responsibilities organized so that family life runs efficiently. This is not a traditional full-time nanny position. We are looking for someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of the family's routine and who enjoys a combination of childcare, organization, household support, and personal assistance. The right candidate will be someone who takes pride in being dependable, organized, resourceful, and helpful. Long-term availability is strongly preferred.
Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
