Our client is looking for fun and energetic Early Childhood Teachers to join their premier preschool in Orange, CT . The ideal candidate must be willing to work with students 6 weeks to 5 years of age; as well as be comfortable diapering and toilet training. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts; Monday•Friday; year-round employment
Open Positions Infant Teacher:
working with children 6 weeks to 1 years old
Lead Younger Toddler Teachers:
working with children 1 years old
Lead Toddler Teachers:
working with children 2 years old
Floater Teacher:
working with children 6 weeks to 5 years old
Salary Lead Teachers:
$19.00•$25.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
Floater Teachers:
$18.00•$23.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience Full-Time Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Child Enrollment Discount Professional Development Assistance Job Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education Lead Teachers communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Lead Teachers plan, create and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum Lead Teachers maintain educational portfolios for each child Qualifications•Lead Teachers Must be at least 21 years old
REQUIRED
Education:
High School Diploma
PREFERRED
Education:
Child Development Associate or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
REQUIRED
Experience:
2 years of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility Qualifications•Assistant and Floater Teachers Must be at least 18 years old

6 months of experience working with children 6 weeks to 5 years old in any capacity (babysitting and nannying

) Qualifications•All Positions Must meet background check eligibility Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations•for Infant and Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Don't meet every qualification?
