We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher(s) to support the development and well-being of young children by assisting lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Supervise children closely during activities, playtime, meals, and nap times to ensure safety and proper behavior management Support children with daily routines such as diapering, toileting, handwashing, and feeding as needed Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment by helping with setup, cleanup, and sanitization of toys and materials Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities to build strong partnerships Skills Experience working with children in a early childhood settings a plus. Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific teaching strategies Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and child safety procedures a plus. Strong classroom management skills to promote positive behavior and engagement Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and teamwork within the classroom environment Ability to handle toddler care, infant care, and general childcare responsibilities with patience and enthusiasm

Pay:

$17.25 - $18.25 per hour
