Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Nature Preschool Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children. In this dynamic role, you will create engaging learning environments that foster development across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains. Your dedication will help shape a positive foundation for lifelong learning, ensuring each child feels valued, supported, and excited to explore the world around them. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development and literacy education, tailored to meet individual student needs. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and positive behavior management strategies. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support social skills, emotional regulation, and physical development. Use effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured yet flexible learning space conducive to exploration and discovery for a group of ten children ages 4.5-6yrs old. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor progress through assessments and standardized testing, providing regular updates on each child's growth. Incorporate Montessori methods and other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences and foster independence. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting lesson plans and utilizing specialized teaching strategies. Requirements Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom experience and childcare skills. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education within an early childhood context. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and team members. Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred; Nature Based or Montessori experience is a plus. Ability to manage classroom dynamics confidently while fostering a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
