This is a great opportunity for those with experience in early childhood education who want meaningful, hands-on work with children without committing to one fixed schedule. What You'll Do As a substitute teacher, you'll step into daycare classrooms for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-age children to support full-time staff, help maintain ratios, and keep the day running smoothly. You'll gain experience across different participating childcare centers and age groups while building relationships throughout the local early learning community. Requirements Must be 18+ years old High school diploma, GED, or transcript 1 or more years of prior experience in a child care, day care, or preschool setting Able to pass a Level 2 background check Comfortable working with all age groups, from infants to school-age children Perks of the Role Flexible scheduling — pick shifts that fit your life Choose participating locations and age groups that suit your experience Daily pay available Part-time to full-time hours, Monday-Friday, typically 6am-6pm Build experience working with early learning programs across Brevard County
