The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and will play a crucial role in supporting classroom activities across various age groups. As a Preschool Floater, you will provide assistance to teachers, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and contribute to the overall development of our students. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities. Supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions between activities. Support behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students. Engage children in physical education activities that promote health and wellness. Help maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. Observe and document children's progress, providing feedback to teachers as needed. Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects the diverse backgrounds of all children. Participate in early intervention strategies for children needing additional support. Skills Strong understanding of preschool education principles and childhood development. Knowledge of classroom management strategies to create an effective learning environment. Ability to engage children in educational activities, including math and physical education. Familiarity with early intervention practices for addressing developmental challenges. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. A collaborative spirit with the ability to work well as part of a team. Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
