Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising children, planning age-appropriate activities, and supporting their developmental needs. Duties Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety and well-being Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to different age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Support early childhood development through educational games, arts and crafts, storytelling, and physical activities Maintain clear communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Ensure adherence to safety protocols by practicing first aid and CPR when necessary and following mandated reporting laws for any concerns or incidents Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic caregiving tasks for infants and toddlers Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and age-appropriate discipline strategies Skills Extensive experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Proven ability to plan creative activities that promote learning and social skills Strong child supervision skills with an emphasis on safety at all times Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Certification in first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws required; ongoing training preferred Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork Classroom or daycare experience demonstrating behavior management techniques Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive environment Join us in providing exceptional care that nurtures children's growth while supporting families in our community.
