Job Description

Tall Pines Preschool is seeking an infant teacher to join our school. Ideal candidates have experience as a Early Childhood Educator, child care teacher, school teacher and/or experience working in a classroom with young children.
Basic Job Responsibilities:
Classroom Management:
Plan, supervise, and implement age-appropriate learning activities as outlined by our program curriculum. The monthly curriculum theme shall be evident in your classroom through visual displays of students' projects and learning centers.
Communication:
Develop rapport with parents to facilitate the natural sharing of information. Use daily reports and student folders to communicate about each child's daily activities. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with children, directors, peers and parents. Must always maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
Operations and Compliance:
Consistently follow all policies and procedures to ensure Florida childcare rules and regulations are maintained. Responsible for cleanliness of assigned classroom and other areas.
Team player:
Must be flexible and able to help other team members as needed.
Job Qualifications:
Completion of Florida Department of Children and Families Mandatory Introductory Training (40 hours), or willingness to complete training within 12 months of hire. Completion of Florida DCF Early Literacy Training, or willingness to complete training within 12 months of hire. Certification in First Aid and Pediatric CPR, or willingness to complete certification. Must complete and pass a criminal Background Screening through Florida Department of Children and Families.
Experience:
1 year+ experience working in a child care setting (Preferred).
Salary:
Competitive pay based on education and experience.
