Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Supervise children closely to ensure safety at all times during indoor and outdoor activities Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures, to respond promptly to emergencies or injuries Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and personal hygiene Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and age-appropriate behavior management strategies Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities Adhere to mandated reporting laws by documenting concerns related to child welfare or safety issues Requirements Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus Ability to effectively communicate with children and their families while demonstrating patience and empathy Familiarity with classroom management techniques and child supervision strategies Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Flexibility to adapt to different age groups' needs and support various developmental stages Embark on a rewarding journey as a Childcare Teacher where your passion for nurturing young minds will flourish.
