Job Description

Overview:
We are looking for a caring and energetic toddler teacher and infant caregiver to teach our scholars in a Christian environment! This is a
FULL TIME
position from 7:30AM-4:00pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in toddler care, early childhood education, classroom management and infant care. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children, while also supporting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality childcare for toddlers and preschoolers in a nurturing and engaging environment
  • Implement daily routines, including feeding, and dressing the children
  • Plan and execute fun and educational activities, such as arts, crafts, and games
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Ensure the health and safety of the children, including administering first aid when necessary
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the children, their families, and other caregivers
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure a smooth transition of care
  • Manage and redirect child behavior to ensure a positive and productive environment
  • Collaborate with other caregivers and management to plan and implement childcare programs
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in childcare or early childhood education or certificate in a related area
  • Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain an extremely positive and patient demeanor
