Job Description
Overview:
We are looking for a caring and energetic toddler teacher and infant caregiver to teach our scholars in a Christian environment! This is aFULL TIME
position from 7:30AM-4:00pm. The ideal candidate will have experience in toddler care, early childhood education, classroom management and infant care. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children, while also supporting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality childcare for toddlers and preschoolers in a nurturing and engaging environment
- Implement daily routines, including feeding, and dressing the children
- Plan and execute fun and educational activities, such as arts, crafts, and games
- Monitor and maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Ensure the health and safety of the children, including administering first aid when necessary
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the children, their families, and other caregivers
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff to ensure a smooth transition of care
- Manage and redirect child behavior to ensure a positive and productive environment
- Collaborate with other caregivers and management to plan and implement childcare programs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in childcare or early childhood education or certificate in a related area
- Knowledge of childhood development and early childhood education principles
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain an extremely positive and patient demeanor
