Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding early childhood development through engaging activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children develop essential skills, build confidence, and enjoy their learning journey. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for children in your care Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety at all times Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and respect among children Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment following health and safety regulations Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behavior, and any concerns Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and transitioning between activities Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care as needed Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education is a plus Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle multiple children simultaneously Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and team members Passion for caregiving, teaching, and supporting young children's growth and learning Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where every child feels valued, safe, and inspired to explore the world around them!
Pay:
$8.50 - $10.00 per hour
