We are looking to fill positions in Early Head Start (ages 0-3) Columbus, IN 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am

Hours vary depending on the classroom. Do you have a heart for working with infants and toddlers? Are you passionate about creating nurturing, playful, and engaging learning environments for young children? If so, we'd love for you to join our team as an Early Head Start (EHS) Teacher ! At Human Services, Inc. , our EHS Teachers are more than educators — they're caregivers, mentors, and advocates who help set the foundation for lifelong learning. We are looking for someone who can bring warmth, creativity, and professionalism into the classroom while partnering with families to support each child's growth and development. What You'll Do Provide responsive, nurturing care and engaging learning experiences for infants and toddlers. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment. Collaborate with families to support parenting skills and children's developmental goals. Conduct home visits and support parents as their child's first teacher. Model positive interactions, routines, and healthy practices (including mealtime, diapering, and daily health checks). Complete screenings, assessments, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
What We're Looking For Required:
Infant/Toddler CDA credential Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to meet physical demands (active play, lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.). CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Experience as a teacher or teacher's assistant in an early learning setting.
