Job Summary The Ben & Maxine Miller Child Development Laboratory School is seeking a Head Teacher to join our team. The Head Teacher will oversee the daily operation of their assigned classroom. This includes establishing and maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment, planning, and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, modeling best teaching practices, and supervising other classroom staff and University students. The Head Teacher develops and maintains professional relationships with children, staff, parents, and students, and works collaboratively with researchers and research projects.

What We're Looking For:
Required:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field. Three years of experience providing care and early education for young children, teaching experience, or related. Knowledge of children's development.
Skills Needed:
Ability to manage groups of children through positive guidance. Ability to take initiative in implementing program goals and providing developmentally appropriate early childhood curriculum. Effective working with children and adults.

The final salary offer will be determined based on various factors, including internal equity, available budget, and relevant experience.
